Here, Here Totally relate as I can not use shea butter at all. It sits on top of my hair and leaves a whitish residue. I've done well with a water base leave-in conditioner with certain oils that can use. My hair responds well to Jamaican caster oil and argan and jojoba oil. I still have to be careful not to use too much. As a result my hair feels very moisturized and shiny.
I can't use all oil either. Coconut oil is too drying on my hair, i mean dry like crunchy dry. Olive oil is not much better. I hear other naturals swear by these products. Not me, has the opposite effect. Not everything works for everybody.

I am sitting at my desk right now with a head full of dry hair. It is hit or miss for me. Some days the leave ins, stylers and moisturizers work and some days they don't. Just when I think I have found a holy grail product it seems to stop working. So, I have done all of the above, but I still have my dry days. :) I am looking for a quick and reliable fix. :)

I have thick, dry natural hair but I also have a good mixture of fine and coarse strands. Qhemet’s Amla Cream and their Atheo butter just sit on top of my hair and make my hair dry and stringy and build up on my hair very quickly. I use the Amla cream to massage my scalp and edges to encourage growth. It helps because of the castor oil.

Looking for a remedy-
Hello, I'm looking for a natural remedy for adult cystic acne. I'm nearly 30 yo and have had acne for most of my life. As I became older it changed into more cystic, hormonal-type acne. Please advise, thank you!

The one thing you need to know about natural hair is that the kinkier (tightly coiled) it is, the drier it will be in many cases .

The all round gentleness of Lisse Luxe Hair Towel with the convenience of an easy to fasten turban. Great for curly and delicate hair needing the gentlest treatment.

Hair straighteners can range in price from $20 at the drugstore to $300 at the salon, and I intend to help you sort through the differences as well as how much you actually have to spend to get the straightener of your dreams.

To turn dry hair to healthy hair, start by shampooing your hair two to three times a week and letting it air dry. Comb your hair instead of brushing it and avoid heat styling it. Make use of deep conditioners and finishing oils. Eat a healthy diet and drink lots of water. Protect your hair from the sun and trim it regularly.
