Well, before I get into exactly how to make your own shampoo, I want to stress the reasons why you should consider this option in the first place:

3. Shampoo with Natural Moisturizing Oil   –  Use oil-based moisturizing shampoo to seal in water. This keeps your hair moisturized longer. Go for moisturizing shampoos that contains natural oils like jojoba, avocado, grape seed, tea tree oil, olive oil, coconut oil and emu oil. Don’t confuse natural oil with mineral oil. You should never use mineral oil-based shampoo as it causes residue build up and increase dryness and brittleness.  For products for dry black hair, look for emu oil or jojoba oil as primary active ingredients.

Excess shedding is often the result of simply mistreating your hair! Often simply switching to a natural shampoo without detergents, detergent foam boosters, and other harsh chemicals helps with shedding.

What’s even better about this pH Balanced shampoo recipe is that one of YOU guys helped me see the better solution.

Dandruff, or seborrheic dermatitis or seborrhea, in toddlers and young children is a common skin condition that mainly affects the scalp ( 1 ). It causes flaky skin to form on the scalp or any other part of the body that is especially oily. The flakes are white or yellowish in color. Other than the scalp, dandruff also occurs on the eyebrows, ears, eyelids, armpits, groin, neck, crease of the nose and the belly button.

Eight months ago I decided to try a radical experiment in  natural hair care: I ditched the shampoo . It was a bit like jumping off a cliff (and I’m so  not  a fan of heights) but I decided that there was nothing to lose, so I jumped. And four months later as I look back, I realize that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Four months in to No Shampoo (often called “No-Poo” on the web) and my hair is so healthy that I have decided to make my experiment permanent: I will never go back to shampoo.

Specialty shampoos are available for people with dandruff , color-treated hair, gluten or wheat allergies, an interest in using an "all-natural", " organic ", " botanical " or "plant-derived" product, and infants and young children ("baby shampoo" is less irritating). There are also shampoos intended for animals that may contain insecticides or other medications to treat skin conditions or parasite infestations such as fleas.

Hairobics All Natural has been bringing natural hair and skin care products to the market since 1993. With so much knowledge about the benefits of natural hair care, it is easy to recommend products that are healthy for children, as well.

Antifungal creams, shampoos or lotions may help treat tinea versicolor. But even when there is successful treatment, the skin color can remain uneven for many weeks until the repigmentation occurs and tinea versicolor may return, especially in humid, warm weather.
