Natural shampoo everyday

The brands listed below are some of the only truly safe shampoos out there–they are free of phthalates, parabens, SLES/SLS, and toxic preservatives. The truth is that my hair looks best using the no poo method, but when I’m too lazy to deal with that, I reach for one of these guys.

Well, before I get into exactly how to make your own shampoo, I want to stress the reasons why you should consider this option in the first place:

Give your shampoo bottle a quick shake before you lather it on your tresses. Human Nature uses natural emulsifiers that prevent the ingredients in our shampoos from separating, and after a certain period of time, the natural oils settle on top of the water and solid ingredients. So don’t forget to shake it to make sure you get all the good stuff in there mixed well!

Eight months ago I decided to try a radical experiment in  natural hair care: I ditched the shampoo . It was a bit like jumping off a cliff (and I’m so  not  a fan of heights) but I decided that there was nothing to lose, so I jumped. And four months later as I look back, I realize that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Four months in to No Shampoo (often called “No-Poo” on the web) and my hair is so healthy that I have decided to make my experiment permanent: I will never go back to shampoo.

SLS is commonly used, nonetheless, because it’s cheap and has the ability to foam up when mixed with a bit of salt. Unfortunately, many consumers have the perception that lots of foam=cleaner hair, but this is not the case: the foam itself doesn’t help clean your hair much. But SLS does get rid of grease, which is why it is used for cleaning engines and in garage and kitchen floor cleaning products.

When aerosol dry shampoo came on the market, it was a life-changer for me (I was in college at the time, working and studying, and often running late to both). What an amazing invention! Until you look at the ingredient label…

Centuries ago, civilization's first-ever beauty rituals were all natural, created with practicality in mind to promote good health and hygiene. Men and women from the ancient Ottoman Empire used scented oils and ointments to clean and soften their skin, mask body odor and protect themselves from hot sun and dry winds. Yes, these natural botanicals and essential oils were all utilized back then because people had no other choice-but these basic ingredients in their purest forms worked wonders.

It’s simple. No one cares more about your pocket book or your hair than you. That’s why you’re here. That’s why you want to make your own shampoo. And that’s why you want to make more of your own products. So do we!

“ worse than eating them. When you eat something, the enzymes in your saliva and stomach help to break it down and flush it out of your body. However, when you put these chemicals on your skin, they are absorbed straight into your bloodstream without filtering of any kind, going directly to your delicate organs .”

The most beautiful thing we possess is our body and soul. Our body requires regular care and maintenance to keep looking healthy and beautiful. We all have to live through some ailments and other health problems from time to time. However, nature has created a remedy contained within in plants and herbs -for every health problem. Whether it's fresh produce, dried herbs, essential oils or extracts: the key to beautiful health is using pure botanical rich ingredients derived from nature.
